Waco pup's eye beaten from his head

This sweet dog was impounded at Waco Humane Society after his owner is thought to have beaten him so badly to have caused his eyeball to protrude.

This little one is thought to be about two years of age and is only interested in making new friends. The Waco Humane Society has reached out to local rescues to try and save this sweet boy.

More facts are being sought about the case in hopes that charges will be filed for animal abuse, but for now, the shelter is really trying to find a good home for this deserving dog.

Austin dogs strut Texas style at Best Friends event

Reunion Rescue and other local Austin animal groups turn out at Mueller Lake Park in Austin for a fun event. We took several of our Reunion refugees to show off and were joined by some fun loving Reunion Rescue adopters with their dogs for a wonderful time.

Pictures say it best and there were plenty of photo ops at Austin's second annual Strut Your Mutt.

We could only bring three dogs this year, but hopefully next year we'll have that cargo van and bring every dog from Reunion Rescue No Kill Refuge!
