Angry California groups attack Reunion Rescue holistic refuge

During the past month, our Reunion Rescue dog, LuLu, was held hostage due to a big SNAFU by Austin Animal Center.

So why do organized California groups in a concerted attack go after a holistic rescue in Texas?

During the midst of our struggle to find LuLu, this weird post was shared on the Pit Bulls Against Misinformation Facebook page with 183,000 followers....and also posted on the hoax Facebook page, 'LuLu is reunited with her family.'

This page has been removed by 'administrators' and so have the 'Woo Hoo!!!" Pit Bulls Against Misinformation attacks.

What was to be gained and what was the purpose of such a structured angry campaign against a group trying to save high kill shelter animals by sharing holistic tried and true cures for ailments killing so many animals in the nation's animal pounds? 

Wouldn't any normal person would seemingly wish to find answers and heal the thousands of pets being dumped daily in high kill municipal pounds due to enormous veterinary bills that most of us cannot afford? Or would that cut into joke time on these vicious pages?

With 3687 dogs per day being killed, Reunion Rescue has waged a healthy war and saved many with the available information on the Reunion Rescue Health Page and Facebook pages like Home Remedies to Heal Animals.

Upon looking at these groups, Furbaby Jesus, Disciples of Furbaby Jesus and Pit Bulls Against Misinformation, no actual rescue work is going on, although PBAM recently staged a fundaiser for a dog in Oklahoma, Boosie. 

Much of the effort feature pictures of Jesus with his junk hanging out along with gang-style attacks toward people who 'prey' and 'cher' to save animals.

The hoax 'LuLu is reunited with her family' Facebook page announced falsely that LuLu was heartworm positive...and added that her infestation was caused by negligence at Reunion Rescue.

This libelous and harmful announcement opened up the floodgates with attacks and ill-researched 'opinions' like this:



LuLu was recovered last Saturday night and the hoax 'Jane Doe' page 'LuLu is reunited with her family' disappeared along with the posts and comments condemning Reunion Rescue for holistically curing heartworms and other ailments.

Not so amazingly, LuLu tested negative for heartworm after these pages' public dissing. Nolan, LuLu's best friend actually was cured of high positive HW infestation through the Reunion Rescue herbal cure posted on Reunion Rescue's website Health Page.

Maybe even more tragic than the lost lives which could have been saved with the 10 thousand dollars spent through Austin, Texas legal efforts and month's wasted time and effort to find LuLu is a global concern. How many lives could be saved were some of these Furbaby Jesus jokesters 'chering' actual animals rather than attacking others for trying to make a difference?

LuLu is safe and back at Reunion Rescue with all the other healthy happy animals. It was a very close call, though...many of these pages and and contributors 'advised' the 'Jane Doe' who had LuLu and created the hoax page, 'LuLu is reunited with her family' to kill LuLu...a healthy 5 year old dog!

These people continue to stalk Reunion Rescue and post untrue attacks...guess that's the nature of the beast....

 

 

Balboa killed in NYC while imedia continues bashing campaign

After publishing the debunked lie-filled article which resulted in American Pit Bull Examiner being shut down, the imedia page posted their piece with the foaming at the mouth comment, "Examiner.com fires reporter who published fake pit bull story. Reporter becomes unglued after entire archive deleted!"

Pit bull hate groups, called 'foamers' by animal rights activist, began sharing the piece among their frightening followers, many of whom belong to groups which adopt pit bulls from shelters and kill them. The number of animal killers involved with this imedia campaign is unknown, however extreme and terrifying.

Clifton has quietly changed some of the outrageous false claims in his blog, like calling a Great Pyrenees a pit bull and correcting the false statements about Reunion Rescue dogs at Spindletop. While attacking American Pit Bull Examiner for an error about the time Skye was fostered or adopted by imedia head, Rhonda Shearer.

As this affair progresses, we shall see other lies debunked, such as the intern or reporter (depending on which way the wind blows) Katie Kausch's false claims in the non-factual imedia piece she co-wrote with Rhonda Shearer. Such blatant imedia mis-representations such as Skye and Milo being located at the Harlem Shelter when there no Harlem Shelter even exists is only one example of ludicrous claims in their piece that resulted in American Pit Bull Examiner's thousands of life-saving articles being removed from the internet.

Sadly, dogs like Balboa die in the process. Yesterday, Pit Bulls and Other Animals wrote a blog on Balboa and his brother Rocky at Manhattan Shelter, the very same shelter where Skye and Milo were located before they were fostered or adopted, depending on conflicting claims by Kausch and Shearer in their imedia article.

Imedia and Amsterdog thread has been posting for weeks about their victory killing American Pit Bull Examiner column. American Pit Bull Examiner column and two other titles have helped save thousands of dogs over the past 5 and 1/2 years.

Amsterdog's initial post which stated Skye was in her new 'foster' home has recently changed their post to read 'This morning SKYE was on the TBD List. Now she's sittin' pretty in her new home. Thank you, new mama Rhonda!" This posting was altered after the new mama, Rhonda attributed the 'accident' to typographical error on her imedia page claiming Amsterdog meant to type 'adopted' instead of 'foster'.

The Amsterdog thread still reflects many conflicting statements, even referring to Skye as 'Star' while asking their Amsterdog posters to adopt both Skye and Milo...that after claiming Skye was adopted and American Pit Bull Examiner story is 'fake' and the author a 'liar,' strong claims from pro-advocates like Ken Foster of Sula Rescue who claims on the page that NYC shelter system saves 9 out of every 10 dogs.

Balboa wasn't one of these lucky dogs as so claimed by the posters like Foster on the imedia page which has become a 24/7 watering hole for so-called pro-advocates and pit bull hate groups.

Yesterday's blog didn't help Balboa according to the Gone Dogs Page on NYC's Urgent Death Row Dogs page which features actual dogs in the NYC system on a daily basis minus 'typos' and minus hate groups.

For many years, American Pit Bull Examiner has written life-saving articles about dogs like Balboa, many from the NYC Shelter System. Many of these dogs were saved. Sadly, the column is dead today, dead and gone based on untruths perpetuated by imedia group and promoted by huge rescue efforts like BAD RAP, Sula Foundation and Amsterdog side by side with pit bull hate groups like Craven Desires, dogsbite.org and the Cliftons who killed a pit bull.

Another Manhattan pit bull died yesterday, Balboa. He is remembered here along with Everglade and Archy where we fight hard to save lives day after day, year after year.

Imedia intern/reporter tries to join Reunion Rescue

After sabotaging the funding source of Reunion Rescue, Katie Kausch, the imedia ethics reporter dash intern, tried to join our pit bull rescue.

This is terrifying, considering the massive pit bull hate groups who endorse the lie-filled articles written by intern/reporter Katie Kausch and Rhonda Shearer.

We do not know Katie Kausch and first heard of her when she approached American Pit Bull Examiner by email (archived) representing herself as a reporter and leaving imedia ethics contact information.

Imedia ethics then tried to claim the girl was only a 17 year old intern and the contact was her private phone number.

The imedia page is host to known pit bull groups such as Beth Clifton who, along with longtime pit bull hate group blogger-husband Merritt Clifton, write pro-pit bull annihilation blogs and are the darlings of Craven Desires/Dawn James, dogsbite.org and hundreds of other pit bull hate groups which are sharing the imedia (Kausch/Shearer) article along with another inaccurate rage-motivated piece by the Cliftons on their anti-pit bull blog. The Cliftons killed their own pit bull and collect money to fund their efforts to shut down groups like Reunion Rescue and American Pit Bull Examiner which has saved thousands of dogs.

Followers and promoters of these anti-pit groups have staged country-wide pit bull adoptions to save
death row dogs and kill innocent animals that resemble pit bulls.

Why would any 'journalist' jump into bed with these groups who kill innocent dogs?

Even more alarming, why is imedia ethics trying to join our rescue group with 20 years of saving lives and never so much as a nail scratch?

Reunion Rescue has the reputation of housing the 'world's friendliest pit bulls' and the thought of one of these monsters managing to get their hands on our dogs, or any dog is horrifying!!

Imediaethics is on a mission to shut down everything associated with American Pit Bull Examiner. They've shut down organizer and rescue director's Facebook page for 30 days and enlisted the help of mass pit bull hate groups in their effort.

Groups which want all pit bulls killed like dogsbite.org and Beth Clifton are sharing the lie-filled article and rejoicing all over the internet that a pit bull rescue is under siege.

THE COMMENTARY on Dogsbite.org to Craven Desires to Amsterdog to BAD RAP and Ken Foster 'I'm a Good Dog' book promoter and director of SULA RESCUE is incomprehensible and indistinguished between hate groups and rescue/advocacy groups who are working together for one cause..to shut down Reunion Rescue and American Pit Bull Examiner.

It's suspected that imediaethics owner Rhonda Shearer has ties with Facebook as revealed on a recent phone call.

Merritt and Beth Clifton join imedia, Amsterdog and hate groups to trash American Pit Bull Examiner

Pit bull hate bloggers Merritt Clifton and Beth Clifton join the imediaethics and Amsterdog effort to spread their lie-filled non-factual hate blog all over the internet.

Clifton stumbles across the facts like a drunken blind guy looking for a hate party, even calling a Great Pyrenees a pit bull. This is only one of the atrocious and outright lies in his hate-filled animals 24/7 blog supported by groups who actually adopt pit bulls from shelters and have them killed. (see photo).

Imedia and followers have claimed to have insiders at Facebook which are being used to obstruct and block Facebook accounts that belong to anyone who questions the inaccuracies in the imedia piece which has headlined their business website for weeks and beating out unimportant news items like Trump and the Republican debates, Al Jazeera and even the super bowl.

Clifton and his wife are spreading their blog which illegally contains photographs and intellectual copyrighted materials belonging to Cindy Marabito and American Pit Bull ExaminR. A DMCA takedown notice has been publicly issued to law-breakers Merritt and Beth Clifton which was immediately removed:



Beth and Merritt Clifton (who calls herself and adopter and rescuer, but killed her own dog) raise money to fund their cause geared to challenge the first amendment rights belonging to those of us who tell the truth about hate groups and pit bull kill groups.

The list of so-called pit bull advocates lashing out side by side against American Pit Bull Examiner with known pit bull hate groups who want all pit bulls dead and publish false dog bite statistics seems to grow by the viral minute.

Please share and sign this petition so that the New York Times, New York Post, NY governor and NYC mayor will be made aware of the atrocities surrounding the NYC shelter system where animals are killed 365 days a year.

APBE wrote a story about two dogs in jeopardy and imediaethics wrote a lie filled blog and threatened examiner.com until thousands of life-saving articles were removed. Looks like the hate groups are winning and more dogs will die.

--San Mateo Coroner’s report never released. Darla Napora’s father Doug Robinson hadn’t seen his daughter in two years since married to Greg Napora. The ladder was built in and is still located on property. Landlord approached by Napora one year after Darla Napora’s death in effort to seek restitution re: ladder.

"In May 2015,  Marabito was by her own account temporarily blocked from using Facebook,  banned from the premises of Austin Animal Services,  and threatened with arrest in May 2015,  after one of the pit bulls in her custody escaped from Reunion Rescue and was impounded."

----LuLu is a Great Pyrenees. Seems the pit bull haters like Merritt Clifton are so blinded by hatred, they can't tell one dog from another.

Marabito’s account “claimed that Skye and Milo,  allegedly two sibling pit bulls, were about to be killed at a Harlem animal control center.  There was only one problem with this sensational story,  published on a site where writers are paid by the number of clicks:  It wasn’t true,”  Kausch and Shearer summarized.  “Five hours before the story was posted,  Skye had already been adopted and was safe and secure in her new home.”

---to date 2/19/16..Skye has not been adopted and is still reportedly in foster care. Clifton bases his lie filled blog on imedia’s lie filled blog. UPDATE: 2/19/16 imedia updated their page stating Amsterdog's post of Skye in foster care is a typo.

San Francisco pays out big bucks to kill pit bulls

Recent statistics revealed some disturbing information for America's beloved first native dog breed, the American Pit Bull Terrier.

Fix San Francisco Facebook page has gathered some alarming and terrifying statistics which conjure up images from Denver's mass pit bull slaughter in which nearly 3500 family pets were removed from their homes and killed.

"It's hard to read page after page of Pit Bull-type dogs that were killed at Animal Care & Control San Francisco (SF ACC). " 

"If San Francisco took a targeted, humane approach to addressing this issue through dog training classes, accessible and low-cost spay/neuter, other pet retention programs, effective return to guardians, effective adoption, foster, and rehabilitation programs (rather than breed specific legislation - BSL). THIS would end the mass killing of Pit Bull - type dogs at SF ACC and virtually end the killing of dogs at SF ACC ! In addition,The San Francisco SPCA puts only a few up for adoption (relaying a message that they are not good dogs) and recommends not using the "pit bull" label."

Even more alarming were the posted salaries of three individuals who run the city's shelter which is destroying nearly every pit bull dog that enters. Over half a million dollars is being paid to Rebecca Katz and her assistant, deputy director Kat Brown with Captain Vicki Guldbech.  

Brown recently retired with benefits and is soon to be replaced with another highly paid official. According to a source with ties to SFACC, "they just hired Kat Brown's replacement as deputy director and apparently he is some "20-year suit" from city hall with ZERO shelter experience. Status Quo obviously wants to keep it that way." 

While a half million with benefits for performing a city job might not seem bloated, when considering most of the inventory is being euthanized, the disbursement of these funds is questionable...and disturbing. When the director Rebecca Katz was heard laughing about killing puppies on a recent appearance on the Monty Show, we didn't get the joke. There is nothing funny about killing dogs and even less humor when it's learned how fat the pay stub is. 

After the shelter's recent schedule closing on Sundays and Mondays, the employees have a much shorter work week. Ideally, this kind of money would buy a program with vision about solutions, not killing. When your hiree helped write the BSL adopted by the city's SB861, based on Kory Nelson's Denver legisilation.....well, you get what you pay for and in this case, that's a lot of dead pit bulls.

It's time for a change. It's time to stop the killing. Pit Bull Nation states that were there actually this number of 'behavior' statistics as reported by SFACC, there would be dire need for emergency assistance. Many of the dogs termed 'behavior' on San Francisco ACC statistics were owned pets which does not add up. Why do more 'behavior' cases seem to be located in San Francisco than elsewhere?

One fact is certain. There are groups like Fix San Francisco and San Francisco Pit Bull Watcher who are doing just that....we are watching you, San Francisco.
